A number of our clients are looking to increase prefabrication on their projects where possible in order to improve on quality and reduce construction programmes. These actions include timber frame construction, cold-formed metal wall systems and precast concrete elements. We have experience in precast concrete elements associated with load-bearing masonry construction but we are also dealing with schemes where we are using precast concrete columns and twin wall systems in in-situ frames, and we are using precast concrete frames as well. The precast concrete frames have seen us using floor spans in excess of 15m and beam spans in excess of 13m, reducing columns, walls and pile caps and speeding up construction.
